The hostel premises are directly adjacent to the school grounds, offering safe commute to and from school. During the afternoons learners can leave the hostel to attend learner support classes and school sport activities on the school premises.
The learners have a very structured day, with allocated meal, study and bed times.
In total, the DSSW hostel has space for 120 learners. The girls hostel can accommodate 74 girls and the boys hostel can accommodate 46 boys. We have two male and four female supervisors as well as one superintendent to ensure orderly running of the hostel.
